This is my favorite red paisley shawl.....all ready for afternoon tea....

I am using my George Jones teapot, sugar and creamer.....

TABLETOP TUESDAY

Fall, my very favorite season has arrived in my home......however there are definite changes outside also!!!

I made this potted gourd out of muslin, painted and varnished it.....for sale on my website.....

Meta Monday

My little cherry hutch was getting messy, a drop off spot for whatever, and since I am tired of summer....time to morph!!!

These pieces have been put away for a long time now.....since joining the blog community, I am once again interested in decorating...thanks gals.......I have missed it.....

The large platter or ashet on the left is from Scotland, a piece of spongeware entitled "Scotch Ivory".  The flow blue pieces are Dutch and the rest is USA yellow ware.

This is a sweet syrup pitcher in milk glass....

Sauce boat and under plate, spongeware also from Scotland, entitled "Wild Flower".

Gaudy flow blue mustard pot with matching spoon....so cute....

That was a lot of work....but oh, so much fun.....happy Meta Monday!!!

TABLESCAPE THURSDAY

In this setting for dessert, I used my wedding china by Lenox with aqua flowers and silver trim.....teamed it up with a vintage hankie for a napkin with pink ring.....also used a pink napkin ring on the candle stick.....blue milk glass basket to hold sugar packets.....and since it is really still summer, used a few of my porcelain shell angels .....and of course, a blueberry Danish.......all nestled on a teal blue lacy shawl......

REDNESDAY

I lusted after this nectarine all day today....and finally came tea time.....brought out the fav red pottery, linen, lace, and some sweets too!!!  And it was good.....

TABLETOP TUESDAY

This is the dresser that used to belong to my daughter...it is made of butternut, which is white walnut, and lives now in my dining room, and holds assorted linens.....got her all spruced up for Fall......

The weather here has taken a slight change, thank goodness!!!  Some rain, clouds and a bit cooler.....my fav season, Autumn, is just around the corner, and I am so grateful!!!  So, yesterday I started to move out summer decor and bring in Fall items....will post pics tomorrow for Tablescape Tuesday.....and here is my cat Sam, becoming a little toooooo interested with the display!!!  Silly cat.....

Separate dried filters and flatten out....fold in half and half again and cut into 4 quarters.....roll and twist each quarter into desired shape......
