Finally Fall

At last, you are here!!  Been waiting for you, with your cool temps, crisp air, changing foliage, apple cider, night time fires and the smell of wood burning!!  This is my most favorite time of the year......wearing bulky sweaters, wrapping up in a quilt, cooking stew or homemade soup, and of course....baking pies!!

My new camera has arrived, so I've been experimenting with it and learning new tricks.......yes, this old dog can still learn.........  Hope you enjoy this mini tour of Fall in my home.....

We'll start in the living room with the tea table.....I made the pumpkins out of red velvet.......

These haven't found a home yet.......

The sun came out briefly when I moved into the dining room, sorry for the brightness!!

The paisley shawl is my standard for Fall, she goes so well with everything!!

I like the softness of these faux flowers with the bright reds and oranges of Autumn.......

See you soon...........I have soup bubbling on the stove!!!

camera

My posting came to a screeching halt when the batteries in my camera leaked and the camera died!!  So now am awaiting the arrival of my new camera, nicely replaced by Wegman's grocery store whose batteries did the leaking!!!

So, have a few pics of Fall happening in my home before the little disc thing also rotted......

The paisley shawl has returned to the buffet for Fall, and some brown transferware is perfect for this time of year.

Isn't this the sweetest pitcher??  My latest acquisition, and it wasn't cheap, but loved it so........  Sweet girl painting a landscape on an easel.....notice her paint box and pallet with guide stick.....  it is unmarked but in super good shape.....

I've been sewing some velvet pumpkins........this one is an ivory cotton velveteen......I love the squash like shape!!!

The others are in red and blue.........but have to wait for new camera, then figure out how to use it, which will take a while.........but I am grateful and God is good, I am sooooooo blessed!!

Until then, my friends, have fun Falling........
