I Found It !!!!!

Yes, its here, my little electric stove and many of the cooking implements.....dug it out of the basement, dusted her off and set her in my kitchen...I am so excited!!!

I spent many happy hours, cooking and baking.......had tea a hundred times a day......cooked oatmeal, baked cakes.......my mom would give me a portion of what she was cooking on the big stove such as a spoonful of peas or corn, and I even fried potatoes in the frying pan......yes, that's a set of Revere Ware on the stove!!!  The singing tea kettle lost its lid.....

And I did the same with my own daughter, gave her portions from the big stove and we cooked together....what fun that was, she loved baking the best, and of course, making tea!!! and those wonderful tea parties we had....

even found my little electric iron....in RED....of course....

Snowman on Spool

Well, here he is......found this little guy at the craft shop for pennies....missing his nose and a couple chips.....so I gave him a red button nose and fixed him up and put him on one of my mom's old wooden spools with some snow fluff......tooooooo cute!!!  The price is still on the bottom of the spool....39 cents!!!

Time for Dessert!!!

Remember the scenes from my kitchen in baking mode??  Here are the results on our Christmas dessert table.....

There is coffe, tea, and espresso....anisette, homemade cherry cordial and apricot brandy, chocolates from a local candy shop, pineapple nut tea bread, and lotsa cookies......

I used my nippon handpainted dessert plates.....the centerpiece is an ice crystal wreath with my mom's depression era glass bowl filled with shiny brites from my mom and grandmother.....

The last two pics are of my baby orchids in bloom, they are in little clay pots and I put them in crystal creamers for display......Happy New Year to all my friends in blogland!!!!!  Thanks for visiting....blessings.....cleo
