Celebrate !!!

Let us celebrate liberty and freedom!!!

I've been so inspired by all the wonderful patriotic tablescapes, just had to join in the fun!!!

I just bought these cute starfish votive holders at Pier I...they are so cute!!!  The cobalt bottles are antique repros from Williamsburg......glass ware from TJM.

Heisey water pitcher.

I love the Colonial shape of this teapot, and the birds are so beautiful......

The red is looking kinda orange, but is really a red red.......

I love my faux veggies and my faux veggies love me.....right Shelia???

Now these next pics are of a stack of hearts, stained with tea and tied together.....the center heart has the names of the original 13 colonies......purchased about 35 years ago at Sturbridge Mass.

Cute or what!!!

Now these napkins are from Pier I a while ago, and I just wanted to say that I think they are the most wonderful quality......very soft and a good hand to the fabric......I think the little trim is hand crocheted or else they have some special machine to do this, never seen anything like it on any machine!!!

Well, that's it for now.........I haven't posted in more than two months now because it took that long to clean out my garage and hold a massive household and craft sale which was last weekend.......I am now recovering by taking lotsa naps!!!  However, I continued to visit all your blogs and enjoyed all your postings......good to be back....hugs.....cleo

Oh my gosh, Cleo! This table is just gorgeous! I adore the colonial look, checkers, patriotic colors, and those plates and pitchers!

Thanks for stopping by and visiting. I wonder sometimes if my blog is worth keeping up with. Don't know if people are even interested!

Anyway, YES, those blocks were so fun to make and perfect for this summer heat, which I loathe. When the weather gets so hot that I feel like we're prisoners indoors, I've gotta watch depression doesn't set in. I'm determined not to let that happen by filling my mind with creative and fun ideas.

You asked what I'll do with the blocks. Probably put them in my Etsy shop. For now, I want to make more theme-based blocks...maybe Christmas next.

Glad to hear you're doing ok!

Cleo, your table was worthy of the many photos! So many sweet things there. I think my favorite was those hearts tied together. So cool! Thank you so much for visiting Quirky Vistas, reading my story about the Shadow of the Flag and offering such a kind response. I hope your garage/craft sale was successful. They are a huge amount of work.

The 4th is a great reason for these colors, but the combo is perfect all summer! Love the big blue checks with the little red ones. Such a pretty table!

Hey Cleo! Me again. So, you know how to make those triangle boxes? Are they hard? I looked up patterns on the internet, but they were for really small boxes. I wanted to try and make ones maybe about 8 inches or more. Do you know where I can get a pattern? Not that I'll get to it anytime soon! Jill
