Just a Peek.....

Christmas decorating is in full swing in my home and as I look at all the blogs......I'm far behind!!!

Am going with gold, white, and cream this year, with some copper and pinkish tones......a far cry from my usual bright colors!!

Nothing is complete yet so these are just some pics of what I'm up to........

I'm so pleased with how this arrangement turned out....I took this at night with no flash, it will look better to you in the daylight.....there are little fairy lights in there, which I forgot to turn on....!!!

Already, I have changed this up, removed the pink bottle and small book in the rear....

Of course, I had help....she's got her eye on something........

That little Annie........

My new valences with colors to go with the decor.  Had to sew a narrow rod pocket instead of the 3" one already there......  From Paul's Home Fashions......the sheers are over 20 years old from Country Curtains, worth every penny!!!  In back, there are insulated panels that have white on the outside and a silver gray facing to the room.  Not crazy about the look at night, but open during the day are pretty nice, also from Paul's.  And already are making a difference in keeping out the drafts and the cold.  A necessity......

I knew she would eventually get in that basket!!!  Little rascal........

Wishing all my friends here a very happy Thanksgiving and enjoy a wonderful celebration of love, freedom, and all good things !!!

You chose a gorgeous color combo, I did something similar last year but I love all of your ideas. Happy decorating! :)

So pretty Cleo and Annie is a hoot. Love her in the basket. They somehow manage to get into the smallest of things.
