Christmas in my Kitchen

This is where I spend most of my time....doing what I love, baking and cooking!!  So, I like to have most of my favorite things on display nearby.  Love to look at them and think of the special memories they bring.  Gifts from family and friends are most precious......

The antique pine cupboard is the starting place.

The old cupcake tin holds some sweet things and a spice box from a friend long ago.  The wax Santa was a gift from my daughter.  A little blue cup from a child's set holds a nutmeg and grater my mom brought me from a trip to Italy.

I found this truck in the basement in a box of my son's old things, cleaned it up and what a perfect spot for some bottle brush trees!!  The Santa tin of mints, now gone, from my daughter.  Cheese boxes collected over the years.

Mini sled and tree I put in a mini pot......so cute!!!

This is my favorite Santa, a wood cut from an artist, he is so old world, love him holding the rabbit white the fox looks on, longing.....

Hand made in bird's eye maple, the shelf holds ladles and a tin funnel.  The snowman box holds Christmas cards bought at B&N.  I made the little putz houses a few years ago.

Kitchen window ledge all decked out for the season.......I put the tree in an old enamel ware pot.

Boxes by ME......the little candles are from my childhood in the 40's, they have faded and lost most of their color now, but I love them!!!  The 25 cent stickers are still on the bottoms!!!

white lights this year.....

Lady moon......

I love bunnies and have quite a collection....

Assorted towels kept nearby........

That's all for now, am busy cooking for big dinner tomorrow, Christmas with my family!!!

Hope you are all well and enjoying this Blessed time of year!!!
